SW-Motech Aluminum Engine Guard/Skidplate BMW R 1200 GS (04 – 12) / R 1200 GSA (08 – 13) SW-Motech Aluminium Engine Guard/Skid-plate for the BMW R 1200 GS (04 – 12) / R 1200 GSA (08 – 13), shields the exposed underbelly of your motorcycle to prevent damage from flying debris. Constructed of a 4 mm-thick aluminium base plate and 2.5 mm-thick side plates for heavy-duty, light-weight protection. Where the base plates and side plates overlap, it forms a riveted 6.5 mm-thick rail for extra rigidity. Base plate includes side protectors that wrap around the engine block to provide both bottom and side protection. Use the SW-Motech rubber separators on the front SW-Motech mounting bracket with the provided bolts, nuts and washers and use the non- removable original rubber mounting points for the rear with the original nuts and washers.  Everything will line up perfectly.
